High-Level Meeting on the Rule of Law on 24 September 2012: Side Event on Corruption and Economic Growth
On the occasion of the General Assembly high-level meeting on the rule of law at the national and international levels, the Permanent Missions of Austria, Estonia, Japan and Tunisia to the United Nations in New York organized a high-level panel discussion on Strengthening the rule of law: The fight against corruption and its impact on economic growth, on 24 September 2012.
It illustrated the detrimental effects of corruption on sustainable economic growth, society and good business, and panelists reported on effective measures to counter corruption on state and company levels.
